The #1 Secret No One Told You About Business Success – Behind the Scenes At My High-Level Mastermind

– Before I get into the
PMP, I want to have a quick, kind of a little bit of a philosophical discussion first. ‘Cause what sparked the
idea is a few weeks ago, as you know, you guys
know if you joined us for Friday dinner that remember
we had a late night. Friday dinner with Wilson and Benson and Dewan and Andrei. We were just talking about how important learning and how to get the
most out of your learning. And we also talked about
why some of the members you would see maybe they would
grow faster than the others. They would get more out of the group. And we were just talking
about what makes a difference. Is it their background? Is it what business they’re in? Or their belief or their skills. And what I noticed and
we came up with the same answer and I’m going to reveal that. You’ve heard of this before. The one’s who was with us at dinner. This would be like a refresher. So I want to talk about how to guarantee a success in growth. So how do you get the most
out of Dan Lok Inner Circle? I think first of all, what
I don’t want you to do is I don’t just want
you to learn passively. Sometimes new members they
will just learn passively. They watched the videos, right? They try to do the assignment. That’s learning very, very passively. They’re watching what we do or what I do. What other people do
but they’re not applying enough or applying fast enough. That’s number one. Second is, don’t just copy what I do. I know that sometimes
there’s a tendency of that. And because of course,
obviously you respect what I do and you can learn from that. I want you to do that but don’t
copy without understanding. We were talking with Des and about the image for
Tube Your Own Horn Inc. The different things that
I do because the branding that I do has a very specific purpose. It may or may not work
for your marketplace. So you have to know, who am I talking to? Let’s say my branding
would not work for Karla. Karla’s more down to earth. People may relate to her. I purposely create the my
personal brand so people it’s not, it creates distance. It’s on purpose. So you got to think in terms of okay don’t copy without understanding. Just because it works for me, doesn’t mean that that’s
100% of what you should do. Makes sense? – [Students] Yes. – Number three, don’t just
do what I ask you to do. I think that’s also very, very key. At first any types of learning,
you’re taking the advice and even myself I’m not
right 100% of the time. I can be right 80%, 70% of
a time, I’m pretty happy. So you need to take that
insight, take the knowledge and say hey you know
what, great Dan awesome but how do I take that
and apply into what I do. Maybe I need to modify and
based on my own experience, I need to tweak it in this way. I think that’s also
pretty, pretty critical. This makes the world of a difference. And I can see in terms
of members and students why some progress faster than the other. And number four is don’t dabble. Don’t dabble. Dabble meaning you show up minimum. Facebook is minimum. Just say you know what,
just show up once a month. We learn a bit, that’s cool. Maybe I don’t implement that fast. That’s not good, that’s not how you get the most out of the program. So don’t dabble and frequency. What’s the word? – [Students] Frequency. – Immersion, Dewan talks about immersion? Actually talk a little
bit about immersion. ‘Cause you were talking
about that at dinner. – [Dewan] More like my …
that I see in the last 30 days? – [Dan] Yes. – Yeah, I just went all
in and dropped everything. I’ll just speak openly. What’s come from you Dan has been great but listening to Benson’s thought patterns and not just listening
to what he’s been saying, but why he’s saying it– – [Dan] Yes. – Actually, the initial late night that
he had he actually talked about depth and read between the lines and I’ve just, there’s so many people here way more successful than me, but just by listening to
how people communicate and Earl’s another one that
I spent a lot of time with. – [Dan] Yeah, yeah. – In the last three days
and just by being around and listening to other people communicate, I’ve been able to pull up so much bullshit and get it out of my way. – [Dan] Yeah. – And it’s only because
I’ve been willing to listen and just also ask myself,
why are they saying it. – [Dan] Yes. – And I haven’t even crossed one percent but the half a percent has
already changed my business immensely and Friday is my girl’s day off and it’s been a bit difficult but I’ve been out two, three
o’clock in the morning. – [Dan] Yeah, we were
up ’til 2am that night. – They kicked up out. – [Dan] Yeah they kicking us out 2am. – And I’m not saying that it’s
like give up your personal time but I’m just trying to listen to as many conversations as possible. Yeah, anyway that’s the best
way for me to explain it. I had gone through all
the concepts already. I don’t understand 90% of
it but I’m just listening to people’s conversations and
Benson specifically has… Anybody that was at that table that night. I think the reason why
that night was so valuable was because Benson was sharing lots. – [Dan] Yeah. – That was my personal– – [Dan] Also his journey right? What makes him tick, for sure I think so. – So that’s it, it’s
just listening to people and why they’re saying
what they’re saying. And just trying to understand why because I don’t understand
a lot of this though. – [Dan] Yes. – I was trying to understand. – And I so wish that I could take whatever that X factor is and put it in something and
kind of give to each of you, I can’t and I don’t even
know when that shows up. I really do not know. What I do know is proximity. Somehow maybe relax, usually
doesn’t happen like this. It happens through dinner
or something like that. Something just click. It’s not about the dinner. Like day one when I talk about
it, it’s not about din… It’s not just having dinner, that’s nice. But those conversations, I think Andrei I think the same thing would agree. Some of those conversations
really very extremely valuable. And it’s, maybe because it’s late night. – [Student] Less people. – Less people, more relaxed. Something just clicked. Same day conversation I had with Klaus before he went back to Finland. Having a bubble tea and I
was talking about something. Gary was next to him, next to me. Something just hit him and
it was a transformation. How that happens, I do not know. I can not replicate it, I do not know. But it happens quite often
at late night dinner. That’s just what I’m saying. – [Student] The unconscious of (mumbles). – Yeah, something about that. So I encourage you if you
can make it definitely do it. You’ll find it very valuable. Very valuable. And consistency are the keys for sure. Applying consistently not just, hey you know what? Do you want to join in 30 days? That’s nice but it’s that
immersion, consistency. I was talking with Earl
the other day on the phone. Really the true differentiator I believe, my edge, my winning edge is consistency. It’s consistency. I’m not thinking two months,
three months, six months. No, three years, five years, 10 years. ‘Cause I know everybody
else is gonna quit. I’ll be here, right? And that’s the difference. And you’ll see that growth. At first it was like tough as hell. And all of a sudden you see this. But the tremendous quantum
growth is that lift bit. Now you have your PMP, your
established all of that. Now everything seems so easy. Now they see what you do is so easy. Fuck you. It’s more like this, right. So I want to show you
a quick Bruce Lee film. – [Actor] Lee, I want you to teach me what you did the other night. – I already told Ms. Spell, I can’t. I’m willing to empty my cup
in order to taste your tea. Your open mindedness is cool, but it doesn’t change anything. I don’t believe in systems Mr. Longstreet. Knowing method and without
system, without method what’s to teach? – But you had to learn. You weren’t born knowing how to take apart three men in a matter of seconds. – True, but I found the
cause of my ignorance. – Well help me find mine? Lee I want you to believe it’s more than just learning
how to defend myself. I mean a couple of times
there when you were teaching me that I, I felt that my body and my head really were together. So, it’s funny that … And I feel something a bit peaceful. Something without hostility. Almost as though if I… Well if I knew Jeet Kune
Do it would be enough to know it by, knowing
when I’d have to use it. – You always know the right thing to say? – Have I said it? – So it’s quite deep, it’s quite deep. He was says, hey you know what? Your openness is good but that’s it. But that’s not enough. And without system, without method what’s there to teach. That’s actually very profound. And same thing with business. Think of the different tactics. It’s not Facebook, it’s not webinar. Just strip away all those things. What’s there to teach? It’s really a set of principles and the way that he thinks. That’s why he’s trying to get across. That’s why I say, I’ve
got nothing to teach here. I just found a course of my ignorance. What don’t I see, what don’t I know. And here’s a very powerful question. What are the flaws in my thinking? What are the flaws in my thinking? ‘Cause your thinking is
producing your results right now. Thoughts lead to belief, lead to actions, lead to results. So what are the flaws in my thinking. So, my hope is as a DIC member as an inner circle not just watch what I do. Learn the techniques, the
marketing, the sale, the script. That’s all good, but if you
get the way that I think, it changes the game. In regardless if you’re within a circle, you’re leaving a circle. I think it will serve you long term. And that’s really what
I want to try to get. Unfortunately, not
everybody would get this. Not every one of you will get there. I hope that everyone
of you would get this. But you can’t get the way that I think. Because you look at
everything differently. It’s the metaphor that Benson and I shared with us at the dinner, how Jay Abraham thinks. Which I loved that analogy. So basically he’s saying
most people in business are busy kind of just digging holes. They’re digging holes, right? The more competitive, the more pressure, the more profit we squeeze,
what do we need to do? How can we dig the hole faster? That’s what everybody ask, think about it. How do we get more clients? How do we get more leads? How can I get there faster? You’re digging the holes. Critical thinking, the strategic thinking what Jay was talking about is, instead of just how can I dig this faster which is what 99% of the people I ask. A different way of looking at it is, well should you even be digging the whole? The second question is why
should you dig the hole? And should you even be digging it here? And should you be digging the hole or should you be passing it on to someone else you can leverage yourself? And maybe who’s digging the whole, should they be using a spoon,
a shovel or power shovel. It’s a very different way of thinking versus hey, how do I dig the hole? It’s not about that. I’ll do a quick demonstration. Actually I’ll give you a
martial arts demonstration. Steve can I borrow you for a second? (audience laughter) I’m not gonna hit him. To really bring this home
and you’ll see what I mean. Does this make since so far? – [Class] Yes. – It’s deep, chew on it a bit. It’s probably the most
important thing I can teach. So, think of in martial art terms, ’cause Steve and I we
been practicing a bit and you can stand here. So we fought with a
technique that we have right. So if you think in terms of technique, most people they focus on
okay I taught him a technique which is just slapping
hand and hit him like that. So I show him the technique right? So I show it again, again
and you can see, I do this. – Huh? – [Student] Do it lighter. – I’ll do it like this, so okay. (laughter) – It’s okay, this is cool training. – So I did a technique and what everybody else is focusing on… First of all, outsider of this they look at this, they’re
saying I can’t do it. I don’t take action. DIC members, they’re looking at this. They’re looking at, how does Dan do this? How do I do the slap? How do I do the slap? It’s a very low level of thinking. It’s the first step. How do I do this? How do I do this? What you be really thinking is why is he doing that? And how is he, is he feeling the energy? What’s the pressure of the arm? Can we rotate, can I
change it to this way? Or what if he does it? He does it to me, he does it to me? Go faster and how do I change and counter? And how do I develop that speed? How do I develop that power? How do I do it from a distance? All these are questions, that’s the depth. If you just notice how to slap. That’s where you’ll stay. But if you look deeper,
how, why, in different ways, distance, short, what about this hand. What about this hand? What about changing to this hand? All these are questions. You can get my knowledge from that angle. I think you’ve got it. Does that make sense? Applause? (audience applause) How you think.

  4. I love how Dan's message is a reflection of his greatest skill, Consistency. His message is consistent and steady. It reminds me of that movie arrival. As we can change our thinking we can open our minds and lives to see things on a new level. New thinking is what can create that change. We must change ourselves from the inside out. I have gained so many insights and am grateful that Dan has come into my life when he has!

  5. It would be great if you guys could get a microphone to the members of your group, so that when they're talking we can also hear their comments, otherwise when they talk is basically blank space in the vids, and we only really hear Dan's answer without knowing the context of what was said.
Still, always enjoy the great content of your vids! ?

  6. There are several components to achieving success. These include:
    Taking control of your health.
Learning about the power of your mind.
Walking in in the tracks of successful people.
One resource I discovered which merges these is the Magic Progress Shortcut (google it if you're interested) without a doubt the no.1 info on becoming wealthy & successful that I've heard of. look at this unbelievable website.

  7. Wow, Sifu. The "Why am I doing this" vs "How I am doing this" piece really struck a cord with me. It literally caused a breakthrough with me today. I have been going through an internal struggle in my business for at least 2-3 months now, and even though I've seen this video before…watching it again has taught me a different lesson than the first time. Interesting how our focus shifts based on what we're currently going through. Thank you very much for this insight, as it will be a critical pivot for me moving forward.

  12. I like that, look beyond how and seek the why it's being done that way, can I alternate, can try a different approach, apply more spice in the methodology?creativity is also key…

  13. Intriguing, first start with finding the "WHY" doing this and then explore all possible outcomes…. By doing this you find out what works (for you).. This is the path of "Mastery"….

  14. Especially the ending made me smile. Throughout my whole education I was always asking so many questions that were very advanced and my teachers would always say "Let's do this step by step", so as a result I have learned how to ask basic questions and stay there, forgetting about the more advanced questions. Thanks Dan, great lessons as always

  15. I dont have money right now but i have a list from where i got my lessons from. I will find and pay them really for their effort and lessons 🙂

What will sifu do and why, how will sifu change and why, what are the outcomes sifu allow it to happen through him and why… Why does sifu say what he say, how sifu think and why, how I can help Sifu

  20. Hey Dan, I have been watching your videos for a while. It surprises me that even though we come from immensely different backgrounds, we have both discovered a shocking number of the same universal business (and life) truths and strategies. I resonate with a ton of what you say and it gives me another affirmation to keep going on my path despite the shade and doubt thrown at me from my family. I love how you related the business philosophy in this video to martial arts. I’m focusing on teaching business mindset and initial strategy at the moment and my father disagrees that it’s important or worth much of anything, but like you said if you’re not even digging the hole in the right spot or looking a couple steps ahead, then you won’t succeed. I am at the beginning of my journey as a 22 year old with a supportive husband, an 11 month old baby boy, and another boy on the way. I am at most 4 weeks away from launching my online business and I have to say, your videos have really helped to inspire me and give me the confidence I need to know that what I am teaching is true and will really help so many people! Don’t worry, my target market is different than yours so we won’t be directly competing. ?? Thank you. I wish you continued success in your ventures, I hope your wife is well, and hopefully you will be hearing about me through the grapevine soon once my business has been launched and has made a significant impact.

  21. I tend to copy everything without understanding. Because i thought after i done copying, i will have time to digest. Ended up i have no time to digest, and my mind keep telling me i have done my works. That's is my lower self, ignorant. Thank you for open up my mind, i will consistently improving myself.

  22. Wow that was the message I needed. I was wondering why I am struggling during the roleplays in HTC sometimes. Now I got the answer. Not what but why … thank you Sifu ?

  23. I wonder if eating late at night is closely tied to the Theta hypnosis state of mind just before dozing off to sleep and subconscious ideas are rising up to the conscious mind…

  24. Hi Dan thank you for your wisdom … I am on the path to being the 6-7-8 figure entrepreneur/freelancer. Putting the pieces together with the help of your videos.

Wanted to share that the click you’re mentioning is the calibrating of consciousness. Each individual holds a field of consciousness and by making our mind heart in harmony with another person we can calibrate up.

    Have a nice day.
