Small Business Saturday | 5 Anthem AZ Businesses We Love!

Guess what! Small Business Saturday is
just around the corner and here in Anthem we have so many awesome local
businesses. Let me tell you about five I love to shop at… I mean support! Hello! I’m Lindsay, a proud Anthem resident and your local REALTOR® with the Wise Move AZ Team at Realty ONE Group. If you’d like to stay up to date on all things Anthem
and real estate then you need to hit that subscribe button.
Pro Tip: You’re also going to wanna hit the little bell icon so that you’re the
first to know when our new videos are posted every single Thursday. Have you
heard of small business Saturday? Small Business Saturday was started in 2010
and this year it falls on Saturday, November 30th. The point of this day is
to kick off the holiday shopping season by showing some love to the small
businesses that are such an integral part of our communities. Can I be honest?
Normally I can’t keep up with all these ‘National Days’ like National Dice Day,
National Sock Day, and National Microwave Oven Day… What?!? And those are just in the
span of two days! I mean, where do we draw the line? Anyways, I am a firm believer in
supporting local businesses and if Small Business Saturday encourages people to
do that, than I am all for it! Small businesses are the lifeblood of
our economy. They create jobs, increase GDP, and invest directly in our
communities. These businesses are run by your hard-working neighbors and friends,
so let’s show them some love. Drop me a comment below to tell me about your
favorite small business. As I mentioned at the top of this video, there are so
many amazing local businesses here in Anthem, I could go on all day, but in
the interest of time, I’m going to limit it to five that I am loving right now!
I’m also hoping to spotlight even more local businesses in future videos, so, if
you haven’t already, hit the subscribe button and the bell icon, so that you’re
notified when those videos come out. I’ll leave links to all the businesses
I mention in today’s video in the description box below, so that you can
check them out. #1: Amped Coffee: Amped is awesome! They saw a gap in the
market in Anthem and they have filled it perfectly. They are so much more than
a coffee shop. They have all the things that you would expect at a coffeehouse,
like coffee, tea, and baked goods, but they also have food, wine, beer, and regular
live entertainment. I think my favorite thing to do at Amped is Trivia Night on
Tuesdays or maybe sitting out on the patio for happy hour taking in some live
local music. Amped is the perfect place to catch up with friends or to have a
meeting. They even have a quiet place to study or work, up in the loft, and if that
wasn’t enough you’re welcome to bring your well-behaved pups to hang out with
you on the patio. #2 Andrew Z Diamonds and Fine Jewelry: If you’re
looking for a special gift, for a special someone, this holiday season, you’ll
definitely want to stop it at Andrew Z’s. This one is near and dear to my heart
because it’s where my husband and I bought my wedding band.
It’s family owned and operated, and their service is second to none! They helped me
pick the perfect ring for my taste and they even helped me when I needed it
resized with very little time. #3 ProSkill Services: Next to Amped,
ProSkill Services might be the Anthem business that I use and recommend the
most. As a REALTOR® I’m always asked to recommend service providers and
contractors. I’ve used ProSkill on many occasions both for myself and for
clients, and they have always been extremely helpful and professional. ProSkill can help you with your HVAC, water heater, water treatment, plumbing, and
electrical needs. One of the things that I love the most is that they’re very
transparent with their pricing and when the technician is on the way, they send
you a text, and they even include a photo of the technician, so that you know who
to watch out for! #4 Creative Home Enhancements: Keeping with the theme
of home service providers I couldn’t forget about Creative Home Enhancements.
They specialize in kitchen and bathroom remodels along with flooring. We worked
with them to install wood-look tiles into one of our rentals, and they took
the time explain the quality of the products they
were using and they were able to work around our schedule to get the job done
quickly. This is another local business that we can confidently recommend to
friends, family, and clients. #5 Legends: All this talking is making me
hungry… just kidding, I’m always hungry! Legends is just one of many amazing
local restaurants we have here in Anthem. The portions are generous and the food
is delicious. In fact, Carolynn did a whole video on
Legends earlier this year. If you’d like to check it out click in the cards for
this video. So, you have it! What do you think? Are you going to make an
effort to support small businesses this holiday season? I would love to hear
about your favorite small businesses in the comments below. If you’re thinking

  1. The nice thing about Anthem is that it is a bit like a small town where your local businesses are your neighbors, and your friends. I bet they all love working with you Lindsay!

  2. Ohh I have manyyy! Theres this nail salon in my area. The only manicure I ever got where the coats of nail polish actually start and end at the same point. (Makes a huge difference when it dries.)
