Sarah Silverman Getting Back Into Business With HBO for Comedy Special, Late-Night Pilot | THR News


– Sarah Silverman has a new
comedy special coming to HBO, and a late-night show in the works. The comedian has signed a deal
with the premium cable outlet to star in a stand-up special and a pilot for a late-night series. Silverman says the potential
show will feature her “weighing in on the mishigas of the week “and taking live video calls.” According to the comedian,
“Nothing’s off the table “and nothing’s too
high- or lowbrow for me. “I mean, look at my face. “I’m literally all brow.” As for the stand-up special, it will be Silverman’s first at HBO since 2013’s We Are Miracles. – You had the craziest reaction. He just, his arms are folded,
and you just went like. (audience laughs) Like, “Oh, Sarah.” – [Tiffany] Her most
recent standup special, 2017’s A Speck of Dust,
streamed on Netflix. – Just getting ready for
my big Netflix special. Wow, I’ve been doing this a long time. – Silverman is also coming off
the cancellation of her show I Love You, America at Hulu. – [Press] Sarah, Sarah. – Did President Trump commit a crime? – I actually can say with all honesty, President Trump did not commit a crime. – HBO programming’s executive VP said, “Sarah is truly a comedic force of nature, “and we’re so happy to

    couldn't make it on Hulu, had to pull her show because everyone cancelled their subscription because of her.
