Business process management

Business process management

A business process is designed with the objective of maximising productivity in an organization. This way, it’s easier for people to follow guidelines specified without having to worry about what has to be done every time a requirement comes up. That said, it is also important to closely monitor these processes, and streamline them whenever required to ensure that the processes stay relevant and useful. The art of designing a process, breaking it down into systematic stages, defining the particulars of each stage, and assigning it to the right people, and monitoring the progress may be defined as business process management.
