BSc (Hons) Business Information Technology

The course is quite interesting, I’ve learned quite a lot over the last three years I’ve learned how to code, do webpages and javascript and basically present myself as a business user to the society out there and actually be useful. They make it fun by the activities that we do And we get to actually see it live most of the time so we get hands-on experience. They tend to take the lighter side of it to take off the edge. They are very knowledgeable and very approachable, and they’re more like a friend than anything else. Probably about 90% of all the modules that we’ve done is actually for the real world so were are prepared to go out there and stand on our own feet and show a business manager or your boss that you can actually do something. The amount of students and friends that I’ve made over the three years, some good friends that I’ll probably never lose. Maybe we’ll go off and do our own jobs but we can still connect to each other using text messaging and facebook. I think we’ll stay with each other for the rest of our lives now. I took up fencing just to get away from computers, keep fit and things like that, which is pretty good. I’m the Vice President of the fencing team, which again keeps us in a nice little family. Come to university, get your degree, study hard, work hard, play hard, enjoy life. Whether you use the degree once you‘ve finished university, it doesn’t matter. You may use it later on in life. You’ve got it and you’ve got the experience and you’ve got the opportunity there to actually walk into a job and say “I’ve got this experience and I’ve got my degree, and I can stand on my own feet and actually work for an employer.”
