Kazakhstan has overtaken Russia and Japan in the International Ranking for the Education and Retention of specialists, as well as attracting expatriate employees. According to the IMD World Talent Ranking of the International Institute for Management Development, Kazakhstan’s rating is up to 14 lines and now the country takes the 30th place. While Russia takes the 43d position, Japan is located in 31st place. The first place is held by Switzerland. The top 10 comprised Denmark, Belgium, Austria, Finland, the Netherlands, Norway, Germany, Sweden and Luxembourg. In total, 63 countries are represented in the ranking. For 10 months of the current year, the revenue of railway transport in the transportation of goods and passengers amounted to almost 630 billion Tenge. This amount is almost five and a half percent more than in the same period last year. The basis of the activity of railway carriers in Kazakhstan is the transportation of goods. It generates almost 90% of the industry’s revenues. Thus, this year in January-October revenues from cargo transportation brought 561 billion tenge to the industry. Against the background of increasing activity in cargo transportation, market participants are losing interest in the passenger transportation sector. In this area, for the third year in a row, reductions continue. For 10 months of this year, only 68 billion tenge of revenue was earned on passenger transportation. More than 20 thousand Pavlodar students will enjoy a discounted fare option for travel on public transport. The innovation will be effective from the first of January next year. The relevant agreement was signed by the City Council and “Pavlodar regional Union of transport workers”. According to the agreement, four categories of students of the universities will use buses and trams for free. These are children from socially vulnerable groups, orphans and disabled people. As for other students, they will be able to count on a 50% discount in public transport of Pavlodar. They will need to purchase a student travel card the price of which will be 4400 tenge. We all were students, and remember that period, when money is not enough and you always try to save money. I think 50% fare will help students to move faster and to study better, to pass exams and become professionals. Boeing 787 Dreamliner of Hainan airlines powered by waste cooking oil crossed the ocean for the first time. The flight from China to America, landing at the airport in Chicago, has been completed successfully. The plane took off from Beijing and flew about 11 thousand kilometres. This flight was a kind of demonstration of the possibilities of using green fuel in aviation. According to the airline company, the use of biofuel can reduce carbon emissions when burning fuel. The flight was stable and successful. I also want to note that the engine worked properly, fuel was enough. We have achieved the objectives of the test flight.
